Local roots.
25+ years of experience.

Connecticut River Builders is a fully licensed and insured local company with deep roots along the Connecticut Shoreline. From new builds to historic renovations, we have the breadth of experience and expertise to handle projects large and small.

Founder Kyle Guerra was born and raised on the Connecticut shoreline. From an early age, Kyle was fascinated by how things worked and the elements that contributed to their design. In his teens, he learned the skills needed to repair and refinish antique architectural elements and furniture. Kyle carried a passion for the perfection he found in working with wood into his early career as a member of the Carpenters Union of New York City.

After twenty-five years in home construction and renovation, Kyle founded Connecticut River Builders in 2023.

In 2026, Kyle was joined at CRB by partner Rick Weiner. With decades of experience in real estate brokerage and development, Rick has an eye for adding value through pragmatic, creative design while staying on time and within budget.

CRB’s inaugural project yielded the successful renovation of a prominent antique home in Essex Village for thankful clients. Primarily through word of mouth, several other projects in the Essex area quickly followed. Connecticut River Builders is now a well-recognized and trusted resource in the lower Connecticut River Valley.

We are a dedicated group of skilled carpenters, stone masons, roofers, painters, electricians, plumbers, architects, interior designers, and engineers who work in tandem with our clients to complete construction and renovation projects we can all be proud of.
